Savari Technician mobile app
Savari Technician is a workforce application for technicians whose accounts are provided by their employer or transport operator. When you use the app, Savari processes the following app-specific information:
Account and profile information, including your name, email address, phone number, user identifier and operator membership, to authenticate you and provide access to the correct operator workspace.
Operational records you create or update, including work-order and defect updates, inspection responses, timestamps, meter, tyre and fuel entries, photos, scanned documents and signatures.
Device, app-version and session information used for authentication, security, updates, diagnostics and reliable offline synchronisation.
An optional foreground location snapshot when an inspection is submitted. If foreground location access has already been granted, the app may attach the snapshot's latitude, longitude, accuracy and capture time to the inspection record. The app does not request background location or continuously track technicians, and inspections can be submitted without a location snapshot.
Inspection drafts and evidence may be stored locally on the device until they can be securely uploaded and synchronised. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections to Savari services and is available to authorised users of the relevant transport operator. Savari may use contracted service providers for hosting, security and service delivery, as described in this policy. Savari does not sell personal data.
Technician-app data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legitimate business, legal, security and audit requirements. A user may request access, correction or deletion by contacting hello@savari.io. The user's employer or transport operator may need to retain operational records where there is a legitimate business or legal requirement.
